New Program 'Home Is Better!' Debuts

The Presidential Office, together with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has introduced a talk show titled 'Home Is Better!' that drew an audience of 300 students. Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko noted that some participants joined online from cities including Berlin, Warsaw, Prague, and Madrid. The show tackled a range of key topics, such as:

  • job placement initiatives
  • mentorship opportunities
  • grant funding
  • housing programs
  • the Create Ukraine initiative

Most of the students had left the country after the full-scale war began but have since returned to Ukraine. The government is rolling out employment and mentorship schemes, offering grants for starting businesses, and introducing housing solutions. Additionally, young people can find roles in the public sector through youth councils attached to ministries and the Cabinet of Ministers.

Yulia Svyrydenko remarked: 'Right here, every individual can be part of major transformations and build something new for their country.'

The Create Ukraine program is designed to support skilled young professionals coming back from abroad, underscoring the state's commitment to attracting talented youth for national development.

Government Outreach Efforts

The launch of the 'Home Is Better!' talk show highlights the Ukrainian authorities' proactive push to engage young people in rebuilding the nation, especially amid post-war recovery. With many young individuals already returning from overseas, it is crucial to offer them backing and avenues to pursue their ideas and career goals. The initiatives discussed during the show could serve as vital tools for boosting economic growth and fostering social integration among Ukraine's youth.
