Ukraine has once again amazed the world with its sporting achievements! At the World Sailing Championship in the ILCA 6 class among juniors, Ukrainian athlete Alina Shapovalova won the silver medal. The competitions took place in San Pedro (Los Angeles, California, USA), with victory going to Hermione Gikas from Greece. The bronze medal was awarded to Feline Van Ede from the Netherlands.
In addition to this achievement, the Ukrainian team also showed impressive results at the European Youth Olympic Festival, finishing 10th in the overall medal count. Our athletes won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals, making this performance the second most successful in history. Pride for our country grows with each new victory!
