The 46th World Armwrestling Championship has concluded in Albena, Bulgaria. Over 1700 participants took part in the competitions, where our athletes won 5 medals. Oleg Zhok won gold in the left-hand category up to 90 kg, Artem Popov and Sofia Onopriyenko received bronze medals in different categories with both left and right hands, and Andriy Dendeberya won bronze in the right-hand category up to 55 kg.
In the sports world, our athletes also impressed with their achievements at the European Youth Olympic Festival, winning 23 medals! They are recognized as the second most successful team in their history of participation in the Festivals, demonstrating true spirit and determination in the mentioned sports.
