Ukrainian swimmers won five medals in one day: what awards the team received

On the second day of the World Para Swimming Championships, Ukrainian athletes impressed with their achievements, winning five medals. The gold medal in the mixed relay was brought by Oleksandr Komarov, Anna Hontar, Anna Polishchuk, and Artem Oliynyk. Also entering the winners' list were Vladyslav Koshman, Anna Hontar, Eduard Horodynyanyi, and Ihor Nimchenko. Ukrainians have already won 10 medals, placing 10th in the overall medal standings of the European Youth Olympic Festival with 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals.

Our athletes have achieved success not only in swimming but also in judo, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, gymnastics, and table tennis at the European Youth Olympic Festival. It is also worth noting the bronze medal in the 20-kilometer race walk, which Mykola Rushchak won at the World Summer Universiade in Germany. The Ukrainian team finished the competition in 14th place with 12 medals.
