Ukraine won its seventh gold at the 2025 Deaflympics: victory of the women's judo team

Жіноча збірна з дзюдо України здобула перемогу на Дефлімпійських іграх 2025 року, підтвердивши свою майстерність та силу.

The Ukrainian judo team won yet another gold medal at the European Youth Olympic Festival – the 2025 Deaflympics. The women's judo team took first place, showcasing impressive results. The team included Anna Shostak, Oksana Kravchenko, Sofia Volianyuk, Maria Bala, Kateryna Shepelyuk, and Marina Pohorelova. In addition to this victory, Ukrainian athletes with hearing impairments have already won 8 medals at this competition, including 2 gold medals.



In the sports world, there is already talk about the success of the Ukrainian team at the 2025 Deaflympics. So far, our athletes have won 19 medals, and this is not the end of the competition. Ukraine is considered one of the leading countries representing a high level of training and skill at such large-scale games.



Our team at the 2025 Deaflympics showed that it deserves recognition and support. This performance became the second most successful in the history of our participation in the Festivals, and it is an impressive achievement for our country!


Specifically, the performance of Ukrainian athletes in various sports such as judo, swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, artistic gymnastics, and table tennis highlights the high level of sports mastery in the country. Ukraine takes pride in its athletes and hopes to see similar success in the future!
