Law enforcement continues their important work on the demining of explosive objects in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the conflict, they have successfully dealt with over 1 million such objects. They have cleared thousands of kilometers of roads, power lines, and railways, allowing access to a significant amount of land.
'We thank everyone whose daily meticulous work is restoring a full life to the Ukrainian land' - emphasized Ukraine's Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal.
This year, the number of territories that have been successfully cleared has significantly increased compared to last year. Nearly 150 square kilometers are now safe for living, while in 2023 this figure was only 38 square kilometers. The work of demining operators is crucial for ensuring the safety of residents and restoring peaceful life in affected areas.
According to statistics, the situation with demining on Ukrainian land is gradually improving thanks to the hard work of specialists and the support of the Ministry of Defense.
