The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has announced that over 170,000 alimony debtors are under the control of state executors. The largest number of individuals among them live in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa regions. In the first half of 2025, more than 7.6 billion hryvnias of alimony payments were restored, which is 30% more than in 2024.

As a result, approximately 150,000 debtors have been deprived of the ability to leave the country, and their property has been seized, along with frozen bank accounts. Coercive measures have been taken to ensure timely alimony payments and restore children's rights to adequate financial support.
