Ukrainians were shown how prices for salt, sugar, buckwheat, and pasta changed at the end of July. According to the Ministry of Finance portal, prices for basic food products remain stable in Ukrainian supermarkets in July 2025.
Sea food salt costs an average of 37.45 UAH per kilogram, with prices ranging from 35.90 to 39.90 UAH depending on the retail chain. Sugar costs 33.90 UAH per kilogram, with the lowest price at 31.90 UAH in Metro and the highest at 37.30 UAH in Megamarket. Buckwheat is sold for 34.05 UAH per kilogram, with the lowest price in Auchan (29.90 UAH) and the highest in Megamarket (43.20 UAH). Pasta costs an average of 37.58 UAH per kilogram, with prices ranging from 29.90 UAH in Metro to 48.35 UAH in Auchan.
Price changes for basic food products at the end of July remain stable in Ukrainian supermarkets. According to the Ministry of Finance, during this period, prices for salt, sugar, buckwheat, and pasta have practically not changed, which is good news for consumers.
