The State of Utility Services in Ukraine

He also emphasized that despite numerous public complaints, lawmakers have not acted to repeal the resolution, forcing people to pay for heat they do not personally use. - First, verify the meter readings on your bill against your actual meter.
- If the numbers do not match, file a formal complaint with your provider, whether it's the regional power company or the water utility.
- Demand that the provider, at its own expense, inspect and verify the accuracy of your meter.
- If a meter malfunction is confirmed, insist on a full recalculation of your bill.
