The basic social assistance provided under an experimental project is not assigned in cases where there are able-bodied individuals aged 18 to 60 in the family who have not been engaged in work, service, entrepreneurship, education, or registered with an employment center for three months.
Additionally, assistance is not assigned if, over the past 12 months, financial transactions have been conducted for more than 100 thousand hryvnias, the presence of a second property, or more than one vehicle aged up to 15 years in the family.
The right to receive basic social assistance is also lost in cases where the family owns a second property, unless it is located in temporarily occupied territories or combat zones, or if the family owns two or more vehicles aged up to 15 years (excluding mopeds and trailers).
Payments may be discontinued upon request of the recipient or in the event of their death, as well as if other types of state support are granted to other family members. It is also provided that assistance is not paid if false information is provided that affects the decision on its assignment.
Furthermore, it is worth reminding that in Ukraine, there is an additional payment for pensioners aged 65 and older.
Ukraine has established criteria for receiving social assistance, particularly taking into account income and property in the family. This is aimed at ensuring fairness and effective use of social resources.
