According to the message from Taras Melnychuk, the permanent representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian government has approved a bill aimed at amending the country's Administrative Code. The main goal of this initiative is to introduce penalties for unauthorized entry onto the territory of military facilities.
At the government meeting on September 3, ministers supported the introduction of a new article 186-9 to the Code of Administrative Offenses, which will establish corresponding liability for illegal entry onto military territories.
- for unauthorized entry onto military facilities;
- for repeated commission of such an offense within a year;
- for committing such actions in conditions of a special period.
For such violations, monetary fines will be imposed in the amount of 500 to 3000 tax-exempt minimums (from 8.5 to 51 thousand hryvnias). The confiscation of items used during the offense is also provided for. Cases will be considered by judges of local courts of various levels.
It has been reported that the government of Ukraine will introduce new fines for unauthorized trespassing on military territories. Fines may reach up to 51 thousand hryvnias. The new article of the Code of Administrative Offenses provides for penalties for various types of violations, including unauthorized entry into military facilities and actions under special period conditions.
