Cashback Deadline Extended by One Month
Starting July 3, Ukrainians will begin receiving their April cashback payments, and they now have until July 31, 2026, to use the funds. The government has postponed the deadline for returning unused money to the state budget by one month. This change to the Cabinet’s resolutions was initiated by the Ministry of Economy.
The fuel cashback program, which ran from March 20 to May 31, was introduced as a temporary anti-crisis measure. The new extension applies specifically to the April payout—which includes that fuel cashback—as well as any previously accumulated balances on National Cashback cards. Under the updated rules, any funds remaining after July 31, 2026, will be returned to the state budget.
National Cashback Program Continues as Usual
The National Cashback initiative remains fully operational, allowing Ukrainians to keep benefiting from the program's advantages.
This step is part of broader efforts to support the population during a period of economic uncertainty.
By giving consumers an extra month to spend their cashback, the government aims to boost domestic demand and ease financial pressure on program participants. With the National Cashback program ongoing, Ukrainians can continue to gain financial benefits from the initiative, which may help improve their overall economic situation.
The recent extension of the cashback deadline offers a significant opportunity for consumers to maximize their benefits. As many are still navigating the repercussions of economic challenges, understanding the implications of the spending requirements set for mid-2026 can help them make informed financial decisions. This adjustment is part of a broader strategy to stimulate the economy and support individuals during these uncertain times.
