Experts explain this by changes in regulations for Ukrainian refugees. In particular, some benefits that were in effect since the beginning of the full-scale war will end in March 2026.
Eurostat statistics show the structure of Ukrainians under temporary protection in Europe:
-
women — 43.5%;
-
minors — 30.3%;
-
men — 26.1%.
Analysts note that the change in migration direction indicates that Ukrainians are seeking more stable living and working conditions in various countries of the European Union.
Let us remind you, Germany will not extend protection for Ukrainians in 2027.
