Ukrainians who are processing documents in Poland can now register for the electronic queue for DP Document using Diia.Signature. The new rules came into effect on June 1 and apply to all Passport Service centers in the country. This is reported by InPoland.
Registration for DP Document in Poland has moved to Diia.Signature
Starting from June, the Passport Service departments in Poland and Italy have switched to a new format for registering visitors.
Now, to register for the electronic queue, it is necessary to use Diia.Signature. It is expected that this will help make the registration system more transparent and reduce the number of cases where spots are booked by unauthorized persons.
The innovation applies to all services for which prior online registration was previously available.
The live queue in Poland will continue to operate
At the same time, the Polish departments of DP Document have not abandoned the acceptance of citizens without prior registration.
For visitors who do not use the electronic queue, a limited number of tickets will be allocated daily:
-
Warsaw – 60 tickets;
-
Wrocław – 40 tickets;
-
Gdańsk – 30 tickets;
-
Kraków – 30 tickets.
Tickets can be obtained in the order of the live queue without prior registration online.

What services will be provided without registration
DP Document emphasized that certain services will remain available without prior time booking.
In particular, this applies to:
-
submission of documents for apostille;
-
ordering the delivery of previously processed documents;
-
receiving finished documents.
For these procedures, visitors do not need to register through the electronic system or obtain a ticket in advance.
These changes may be particularly relevant for hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians residing in Poland who regularly use the Passport Service for processing or updating documents.
Recall that it is now easier for Ukrainians in Poland to take driving tests.
