Our freestyle wrestlers impress with their achievements in international competitions. This time they triumphed at the Waclaw Ziolkowski Memorial in Warsaw, winning 15 medals and taking first place in the team standings. Here are just some of the highlights:
- Kamil Kerimov (61 kg) – gold
- Alexey Boruta (70 kg), Nikita Morgun (74 kg), Vasily Mikhailov (79 kg), Ivan Chernoguz (92 kg), David Mchedlidze (97 kg), Vladimir Kochanov (125 kg) – silver
- and others. Ukraine ranked 10th in the overall medal standings of the European Youth Olympic Festival, winning 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals. This marks the second most successful performance in history.
Ukrainian athletes amazed with their achievements at the European Youth Olympic Festival, winning 25 medals in various sports, including victories in judo, swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, gymnastics, and table tennis.
