Ukrainians have started receiving payments under the 'Winter Support 2025' program. The program has already provided funds to 1.7 million adult citizens and 253 thousand children. Payments began at city postal offices and will extend to rural offices from November 25.
Convenience and Accessibility
Ukrposhta ensures maximum convenient access to state assistance through its network of over 26,000 offices. The 'Winter Support' program aims to help those who need it most, including in frontline communities.
Vice Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba noted that assistance is primarily provided to people with the lowest pensions, who automatically receive payments through Ukrposhta. This is support for those who need it the most.
Use of Funds
Citizens who have used postal services to receive assistance will receive notifications about the crediting of funds in SMS format. The money can be used to pay for utilities, subscribe to a newspaper or magazine, send mail, purchase medications, and donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Applications for assistance can be submitted at Ukrposhta offices until December 24. Individuals who cannot visit the office on their own can request a postal worker's visit by calling: 0 800 300 545. In addition, funds received through Diia on the National Cashback card can also be used at Ukrposhta offices.
The 'Winter Support' program is aimed at providing assistance to those who need it most this winter and ensures convenient and easy access to it for all Ukrainians.
