Digitization of employment record books for Ukrainians abroad
Ukrainians abroad can remotely submit scanned copies of their employment record books for digitization in the electronic system of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. The process of digitizing employment record books became possible thanks to the implementation of electronic employment record books in Ukraine in 2021, which simplifies the record-keeping of employment history.
Information entered into the employment record book before January 1, 2004, is available for digitization. Ukrainians residing outside the country have the opportunity to submit the necessary documents in electronic form. Files submitted for digitization must be in JPG or PDF formats. It is important that the size of each file does not exceed 1 MB. It is also recommended to maintain a scanning quality of at least 300 dpi to ensure clarity and readability of documents.
Conditions for digitizing employment record books
Thus, Ukrainians who wish to digitize their employment record book must adhere to these conditions. This will allow them to preserve important information about their employment history in a convenient electronic format, which may be useful in the future.
