According to the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Individuals, as of July 1, 2025, the total amount of deposits of individuals in Ukrainian banks was UAH 1,478.7 billion. This is UAH 37.8 billion more than in the previous month.
In the first half of 2025, the total profit from citizens' deposits amounted to UAH 86.4 billion, of which UAH 91.1 billion is actual growth, not taking into account the negative revaluation of the hryvnia equivalent of foreign currency deposits.
It was noted that as of July 1, 2025, deposits in the national currency amounted to UAH 959.9 billion (an increase of UAH 26.9 billion compared to June 2025), while foreign currency deposits amounted to UAH 518.7 billion (an increase of UAH 10.9 billion for the same period).
According to the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Individuals, as of July 2025, the volume of deposits of Ukrainians in the country's banks continues to grow. Overall, in the first half of 2025, there was a significant increase in citizens' deposits, indicating the population's continued trust in the banking system.
