Ukrainian referees appointed for Euro 2026 qualifying matches: all details

Ukrainian referees have been given the opportunity to participate in the Euro 2026 qualifying matches. According to the UAF, they will be sent to games in Germany and Malta. Oleksandr Vdovyn and Sofia Prytsina will be called up for matches in Group A1, where they will act as linesman and fourth official respectively. The main referee for other matches in Group B5 will be Prytsina, joined by Vdovyn, as well as Kristina Kozorog and Iryna Chaika for the matches in Malta.



In Group A1 for the game between Germany and Belgium, Oleksandr Vdovyn will be the linesman, while Sofia Prytsina will act as the fourth official. For other matches in Group B5 in Malta, the main referee will be Prytsina, and Vdovyn will be one of the linesmen. Kristina Kozorog and Iryna Chaika will also participate in the matches in Malta in various officiating roles.



In addition to this news, it is worth noting that the Ukrainian national team has shown successful results in the qualifying rounds for the World Cup and Euro 2026, aiming to highlight its potential on the international football stage.
