The Ukrainian wrestler won bronze at the U-17 World Championship
Young Ukrainian wrestler Solomiya Petrovа won a bronze medal at the U-17 World Championship in women's wrestling in the under 69 kg category. This is reported by 'Glavkom', referring to the Ukrainian Sports Database.
In the final match for third place, Petrovа defeated her opponent from India and won an important award for Ukraine. Her performance at the competition was very impressive.
Successes of Ukrainian athletes at international tournaments
In addition, the Ukrainian team showed commendable results at the European Youth Olympic Festival as well. Our team ranked 10th in the overall medal standings, winning 23 medals: 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze.
The most successful sport was judo, while our athletes also won awards in swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, artistic gymnastics, and table tennis.
