The company 'Ukrainian Armored Vehicles' successfully conducted tests of the unmanned ground complex Protector with the integrated combat remote-controlled module 'Tavria-12.7' at the end of November.
According to the general director of the enterprise, Vladislav Belbas, Protector is a heavy unmanned logistics complex developed at the request of the SBS. Its range exceeds 10 km, and its payload capacity reaches a ton, making it unique in its category.
One of the possible applications of Protector is to deliver other unmanned complexes closer to the combat zone for various tasks. It can also be used to install counter-UAV systems, remotely controlled machine gun combat modules, and other devices.
Belbas explained that one of the advantages of Protector is its data transmission range and communication channel, which uses three redundant communication types, making it unique among other complexes.
