Protection of Property Rights of UDP in Budapest
The Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company has successfully defended its property rights for real estate in Budapest. On December 19, 2025, the Capital Court of Budapest declared the property alienation agreement of the company invalid. This decision marks an important step in protecting the rights of the Ukrainian enterprise to its property abroad.
The building of the General Agency of UDP is located in the central part of Budapest. The return of the property is a crucial factor for the further development of the enterprise and strengthening its position in the international market. On January 6, 2026, a meeting of the Supervisory Board of UDP was held, during which the financial plan for 2026 was discussed.
This case convincingly demonstrates that the implementation of effective corporate governance is one of the key tools for protecting state property, increasing trust in enterprises, and enhancing the economic stability of Ukraine.
