Ukrainian referees will officiate in the Champions League qualifying match

In the second leg of the first qualifying round of the Champions League 2025/2026, the teams 'Differdange' from Luxembourg and 'Drita' from Kosovo will meet. A Ukrainian refereeing crew led by Viktor Kopievskyi will be assigned to this match. He will be assisted by Semen Shlonchak and Volodymyr Vysotskyi, while Dmytro Panchyshyn will serve as the fourth official. Oleksiy Derevynskyi and Oleksandr Shandor will be in charge of the VAR system.


Ethical violations have also been identified among Russian football referees. In particular, Maksym Perezeva and Bohdan Holovko are suspected of taking bribes to influence match outcomes. Referee Holovko was detained by the police for influencing one of the First League matches.


Club World Cup 2025. Semifinal


In the semifinal match of the World Cup, 'Chelsea' from England defeated 'Fluminense' from Brazil with a score of 2:0. Goals were scored by João Pedro, who found the net in the 18th and 56th minutes of the game. In the final, 'Chelsea' will face the winner of the match between 'Real' and PSG. The second semifinal will take place on July 9 at 22:00.


It is also known that 'Dynamo' will play against the winner of the match between 'Zalgiris' and 'Hamrun Spartans' in the next round. The first match will take place away on July 22/23, and the return match is scheduled for July 29/30 in Kyiv.
