Twenty-five-year-old Vladyslava Onufriienko, who holds sanitation certificates, a license to sell alcohol, and speaks four languages including Finnish, had to leave her job as a makeup artist for a university cafeteria position that was later closed for renovations. She stated:

Andrii Kaminskyi, a university-educated construction engineer, has also chosen to relocate to Estonia. He sends out dozens of applications weekly but struggles to find work. Andrii explained:
