Russian Casualties and Drone Strike Effectiveness

Since the beginning of 2026, 193,500 Russian military personnel have been killed or severely wounded. Units operating unmanned systems within Ukraine’s Defense Forces have successfully struck more than 1 million confirmed hostile targets. Drones now account for roughly 90% of all enemy engagements.

Drone operators were especially active in June, when over 200,000 targets were recorded as hit. For each successful strike, servicemembers earn digital points called 'eBaly,' which can be exchanged for new equipment through the Brave1 Market platform. This highlights how effectively unmanned technologies are being deployed in modern combat environments.

Unmanned Tech’s Expanding Role

These figures underscore the growing importance of drone technology in contemporary warfare, particularly within the context of the conflict in Ukraine. The use of drones not only improves strike accuracy but also helps reduce risks to personnel. The eBaly reward system may encourage troops to adopt new technologies more aggressively, potentially shaping battlefield strategies on both sides.

This demonstrates how Ukraine’s Defense Forces are adapting to emerging challenges and opportunities in military operations.
