Achievements of Ukraine's security and defense forces
Ukraine's security and defense forces have reached new records in eliminating Russian troops with the help of drones. In December 2023, there were recorded 106,859 struck targets, which is 31% more compared to November. This figure indicates the growing effectiveness of unmanned aerial vehicles in carrying out combat missions.
Among the struck targets, 33,000 Russians were eliminated by drones. In particular, 33,019 strikes were recorded against the enemy personnel. Furthermore, during this period, a historical maximum was reached – 128 struck air defense systems and radar stations.

These units continue to play a key role in ensuring Ukraine's security and destroying enemy forces.
The growing effectiveness of drone use in combat conditions emphasizes the importance of technological innovations in modern warfare. This can significantly influence the strategic plans of both sides of the conflict as drones become an increasingly important element in ensuring mobility and precision of strikes. As unmanned aerial vehicles continue to improve, their role in combat operations will only increase, changing approaches to military planning and tactics.
