Ukrainian hospitals received 78 laparoscopic systems for minimally invasive surgeries
In 2024, Medical Procurements of Ukraine, commissioned by the Ministry of Health, procured 78 laparoscopic systems worth 115 million UAH for 76 hospitals in 21 regions. These are modern mobile complexes that contain everything necessary for precise and minimally invasive surgeries: displays, endoscopic cameras, illuminators, insufflators, and laparoscopes.
These systems allow surgeries on abdominal and pelvic organs (gallbladder, appendix, uterus, ovaries, intestines) in accordance with modern medical standards, improving the quality of surgical care.
The use of these systems reduces the invasiveness of surgeries, eases the procedure for patients, reduces post-operative pain, and contributes to faster rehabilitation.
Moreover, high-quality cameras provide clear images of the surgical field, which promotes safe and precise work by doctors.
Today, laparoscopic systems are an integral part of modern operating rooms.
The Ministry of Health continues to work on ensuring patients have access to quality and modern treatment in all regions, in accordance with the best world standards.
