The Ukrainian team impressed with their achievements at the European Parabadminton Championship in Turkey. Oksana Kozina and Oleksandr Chyrkov became silver medalists in the SL 3 class. Chyrkov also won gold in the doubles category with a representative from Sweden. The bronze medal was won by Oksana Kozina and Ivanna Redka, while Nina Kozlova and Anastasia Zavalij became vice-champions. All of this allowed Ukraine to enter the top 10 in the medal standings.
Ukrainian athletes also impressed with their performances at the World Summer Universiade in Germany, where they won 12 medals including gold, silver, and bronze. Ukraine once again showcased its sporting potential, confirming its reputation as a strong sporting nation.
