At the Youth World Sambo Championship, the Ukrainian team demonstrated impressive results, winning 16 medals in two age groups. In particular, in the junior category, Anastasiya Shlyomka and Diana Tulunzhy stood out as vice-champions of the world, along with other athletes who won bronze medals. In the junior group, our representatives also received the highest awards, raising the Ukrainian flag high.
At the same time, at the European Youth Olympic Festival, our country ranked 10th in the overall medal standings, winning 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals. This year, Ukrainian athletes achieved the best result in the history of participation in this festival, which indicates a high level of training for our athletes in various sports.
