Dubnomoloko launches in the United Kingdom

Based in the Rivne region, the company behind the KOMO brand (Dubnomoloko) has started selling its cheeses in the UK, marking the first time a Ukrainian cheese producer has earned BRCGS certification. Entering the British market represents a major milestone for the company, as the preparation process took over a year. A representative from KOMO explained:

“More than a year of preparation. Hundreds of hours of audits, inspections, and fine-tuning every single process.”

Dubnomoloko produces both hard and processed cheeses. Each year, the facility manufactures over 15 million kg of hard cheese and roughly 4 million kg of processed cheese. The company emphasizes that:

“The British market is one of the most demanding in the world, where there is no room for compromise on quality.”

Products from this Rivne-based manufacturer are now available in UK retail chains, opening up new opportunities for Ukrainian cheeses on the global stage.

Opportunities for Ukrainian producers

Dubnomoloko's entry into the British market highlights the growing export potential for Ukrainian manufacturers. The BRCGS certification serves as a key quality endorsement, which can enhance the reputation of Ukrainian goods abroad. This achievement not only unlocks new markets but also sets a precedent for other companies looking to expand their international presence.
