Ukrainian Strikes Hit Two Key Russian Industrial Facilities: Votkinsk Plant and Neftegorsk Gas Plant

Удар українських сил по важливим об'єктам промисловості Росії: завод у Вotkinsk та газовий завод у Нефтегорську.

Strikes on Russia's Strategic Industrial Targets

Ukrainian strike systems have successfully targeted two strategically vital industrial facilities inside Russia: the Votkinsk Plant and the Neftegorsk Gas Processing Plant. The information regarding these events is being reported by Ukrainian OSINT channels, Cyber Boroshno and Exilenova+.

An attack using FP-5 Flamingo missiles on the Votkinsk Plant resulted in a breach in the roof of Building 19, which houses the galvanizing and stamping workshop. The estimated dimensions of the damage are approximately 30 by 24 meters. This production section is responsible for metal stamping and creating the basic structural bodies for Russian missiles.

Damage to the Neftegorsk Gas Processing Plant

The Neftegorsk Gas Processing Plant was attacked with FP-1 systems. The strike hit two vertical stabilization columns, which are key components for preparing raw materials and removing light fractions from oil. The fire at the gas processing facility has been contained, but extinguishing efforts are ongoing. Smoke plumes in atypical locations and active firefighting equipment have been observed on the plant's territory.

According to experts, the strike may also have damaged technical pipelines that divert excess gases to flare stacks for emergency burning. The nature of the destruction and the configuration of the collapse suggest the epicenter of the explosion was inside the building, likely resulting in the complete incineration of the interior spaces, as noted by analysts from the Cyber Boroshno channel.

Damage to the vertical stabilization columns, in turn, means a disruption of the technological cycle, a limitation or complete halt in supply, leading to a complex and lengthy recovery process. This essentially strikes at the core of the installation.

These strikes on strategic industrial facilities could significantly impact Russia's production capacity for its military needs. The Votkinsk Plant plays a crucial role in manufacturing components for missiles, while damage to the Neftegorsk Gas Processing Plant could complicate the supply of petroleum products. In the context of a protracted conflict, such infrastructure degradation can become a critical factor in the military calculations of both sides. These targets are part of Ukraine's ongoing campaign to degrade Russia's military-industrial complex and logistical support far from the front lines.
