Ukrainian troops continue to advance in the Pokrovsk direction, claims a new report from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
According to analysts, geolocated video recordings showed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to move in the northern part of the village of Nikolaivka, northeast of Pokrovsk.
Experts note that information from the occupiers contradicts the facts. Although they claim to be moving west from Novoeconomic, there is no confirmation of this.
The Pokrovsk direction also has units from the Russian 'Typhoon' 506th motorized rifle regiment and drone operators from the Russian AirNomads group.
The view of German experts
According to the commander of the UAV Forces of Ukraine, Robert 'Madyar' Brovda, there is no reason for the war in Ukraine to end quickly. German general Christian Freuding claims that Russian terrorists plan to launch up to 2000 drones at Ukraine simultaneously.
Hostilities in the Pokrovsk direction continue, Ukrainian troops are making successful advances, however, against the backdrop of warnings about mass drone launches from Russian terrorists, the situation in the region remains tense and unpredictable.
