Ukrainian Food Manufacturers to Launch Trade Mission in Spain
In a move aimed at shifting from raw material exports to deeper integration into European value chains, the first trade mission for Ukrainian food producers to Spain is scheduled for May 26–29, 2026. The initiative is organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in Spain, together with the Ukrainian Food Manufacturers Alliance (UFMA), the Entrepreneurship and Export Development Office, and the national platform Diia.Business. Spain already stands as a key agricultural trade partner for Ukraine, and this mission opens fresh avenues for Ukrainian businesses.
Planned activities under the mission include:
- B2B meetings
- Introductory site visits
- A presentation of the Taste Ukraine project
These efforts are designed to strengthen collaboration between Ukrainian manufacturers and Spanish counterparts.
Beyond networking, the mission will encourage joint projects, contract manufacturing, and product localization, enabling Ukrainian companies to access European Union markets via Spanish platforms. Registration for participation is already open, and interested parties are invited to take part in this significant event.
This trade mission underscores the strategic importance of the agricultural sector for Ukraine’s economy, especially in expanding export opportunities.
It also reflects Ukraine’s commitment to integrating into European markets, which can drive economic growth and boost the global competitiveness of Ukrainian producers.
