Ukrainian referee Svitlana Hryshko took part in the fifth match of the final stage of the girls' World Championship 2025 (WU-17) in Morocco. She served as an assistant referee in the game between the USA and the Netherlands.
Hryshko worked alongside Romanian referee Alina Pesu. The match took place on October 28 in the city of Sale at the Mohammed VI Football Academy field, starting at 17:30 Kyiv time.
World Championship Qualifiers
In previous matches, the Ukrainian national football team managed to defeat Azerbaijan and Iceland. The 2026 World Cup was not as successful for the team, but fans showed support for the Ukrainian team by unfurling a banner that read 'Fortress of Europe'.
