Vladislav's Story
Explosives technician Vladislav participated in the demining of liberated territories in the Kyiv and Kharkiv regions in 2022. On December 18, while carrying out a mission near Chuhuiv, he stepped on a mine, resulting in the amputation of part of his leg. After surgeries and rehabilitation, Vladislav began to engage in wrestling, becoming the only participant in competitions with an amputation.
Achievements and Veteran Support
In 2024 and 2025, Vladislav won the title of world champion in combat self-defense ISO in the wrestling category. He currently serves as an assistant to the head of the Main Department of the National Police in the Transcarpathian region on veteran policy issues, where he helps veterans and their families with rehabilitation, psychological support, employment, and socialization.
