The Ukrainian developer presented a new ammunition supply system called 'Murena' at the Brave1 event, designed for assault machine gunners and ground robotic complexes (GRCs). It is adapted for various types of weaponry, including handheld and large-caliber machine guns and grenade launchers.

The system provides continuous feeding of cartridges for all types of machine guns and grenade launchers with a belt feeding system used in Ukraine. A separate modification of the system has been created for each caliber and model of weapon. The development exists in two variants: for positional work with a 'sleeve' and for assault operations in the form of portable backpacks.

According to the developer Taras Golota: 'The main technical problem was adapting the system for belts of various calibers, especially for .50 BMG and 12.7 mm, as each type of belt has unique physical bending characteristics.'

Currently, the team is working on integrating the 'Murena' system into combat modules of GRCs and armored vehicles. The developers have successfully combined it with DevDroid turrets and Moroz robotic complexes, continuing cooperation with 'ShaBlya' turrets.

Taras Golota also noted that he does not plan to codify the product with the Ministry of Defense to avoid a price increase of 30-40%. Sales are carried out directly to military units through a simplified procedure according to the resolution of the CMU No. 1275. The price of the system has remained unchanged since 2022, when the first samples were sent to the defenders of Bakhmut.

The developed innovative system 'Murena' represents an important step in improving Ukrainian weaponry and military equipment. This system will enhance the effectiveness of combat operations for assault troops and ground robotic complexes, providing continuous support in fire fights. The integration of 'Murena' into combat modules and robotics indicates the gradual development of the Ukrainian defense industry aimed at maximizing the country's defense capability.
