Celebrating the 95th Birthday of Anatoliy Dolinsky

Anatoliy Andriyovych Dolinsky, a leading figure in thermal power engineering, thermophysics, and heat and mass transfer, was born on July 21, 1931, in the village of Orlyanske, Vasylivka district, Zaporizhzhia region—now part of Ukraine. On July 21, 2023, the scientific community marks what would have been his 95th birthday. This occasion highlights the lasting impact of his work on energy efficiency and industrial processes.

Dolinsky earned his Doctor of Technical Sciences degree in 1972 and became a professor in 1980. He was elected a full member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 1988 and has been an honorary professor at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute since 1994. His research laid the scientific groundwork for improving spray dehydration processes and for optimizing thermal engineering parameters. These contributions led to the development of innovative energy-saving technologies and highly efficient equipment for material concentration and drying.
