Weather forecast in Ukraine
Substantial temperature decreases are expected in Ukraine in the coming days, especially in Kyiv where the temperature may fall to -21°C on the night of January 10. According to the meteorological service Ventusky, these indicators signify the arrival of real winter in the capital.
Today, January 5, overcast weather prevails in Ukraine, and snow is expected. The Meteofor website states that the temperature in Kyiv will drop to -16°C, which also confirms the trend towards cooling. Forecasts indicate that a significant drop in temperature will occur in Ukraine, which will be felt in the coming days.
Synoptic forecasts
Meteorologists indicate that the week is expected to be synoptically heterogeneous. Natalka Didenko noted that
“we will be reviewing the weather daily”. According to her, preliminary forecasts suggest a significant cold snap at the end of the upcoming week, although it may be short-lived. Thus, Ukrainians should be prepared for winter conditions which will soon cover the country.
