Meteorologists from Ukrhydrometcenter predict frosts and strong winds in the coming days. Nighttime temperatures on October 20 and 21 are expected to drop to 0-4°C in the western regions. It will also be cold in Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions. Already on October 19, gusts of wind in the western regions, as well as in Vinnytsia and Odesa, will reach 15-20 m/s. Ukrhydrometcenter warns that these conditions may lead to complications in energy, construction, and utility enterprises. Therefore, one needs to be cautious and take care of safety.

Earlier, it was reported that Ukraine is expecting a slight increase in temperature after a long period of rain and frost. The influence of the cold air mass is gradually weakening. However, there will be no real Indian summer.

Analysts at MkWeather predict that the winter of 2025-2026 may become one of the coldest in recent decades. Ukraine might find itself at the center of Arctic cold. According to their forecasts, December will be wet and mild, while January will bring a drop in temperatures, and February will bring real snow and frosts.
