Improvement of the situation with electricity will take weeks - Head of 'Ukrenergo'
It is already well known that due to the recent enemy attack on the energy system in Ukraine, people will have to wait several days for electricity. According to the head of 'Ukrenergo' Vitaliy Zaychenko, it will take many weeks to restore everything, reports Glavcom.
He explained that earlier it was assumed that power outages could last up to eight hours. However, due to the recent attack, everything has become more complicated. 'Today we expect 12-16 hours of outages in most regions. Unfortunately, due to enemies, the time when people can be left without electricity has increased,' said Zaychenko.
The work of energy specialists is complicated by the difficult situation
Work on shifts continues, but the situation is difficult. 'The situation is not easy, and we are already talking not about days, but about weeks when we will have to restore everything,' emphasized the head of 'Ukrenergo.'
He also noted that better lighting can be improved by both the users themselves and the weather. 'What can help alleviate the situation is changing consumer behavior. You can save electricity by using it only at necessary times or during sunny weather,' added the energy specialist.
Ukraine is once again facing problems in electricity supply due to enemy attacks on the energy system. The absence of electricity may last for weeks, and energy workers are urging residents to save electricity and use it wisely to alleviate the situation.
