The Chairman of Ukrenergo Vitaliy Zaychenko shared with Ukrinform plans regarding electricity disconnections for the population.
'On each substation of Ukrenergo and regional energy companies, massive attacks are being carried out, with a huge number of drones trying to wipe our facilities off the face of the earth,' Zaychenko emphasized.
Although the energy system is holding up, the tactics of the Russians have changed, and now there are targeted attacks even on small facilities, which are important for the population, especially in frontline regions.
Ukrenergo urges consumers to save electricity to reduce the load on the system before winter arrives when heating, light, and water are needed, all of which depend on energy supply.
Ukrenergo is concerned about the increase in attacks on energy infrastructure and urges residents to save electricity to avoid potential issues with electricity supply in the future, especially in the conditions of frontline areas.
