According to the Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Mykola Kolisnyk, the most affected settlements are in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, and Lviv regions.
The necessity for energy-efficient consumption due to the consequences of the attack
The Deputy Minister urged citizens to rationally use electricity and avoid turning on energy-intensive devices during peak hours. As part of the preparation for the autumn-winter period, energy workers completed planned repairs at thermal and hydroelectric facilities.
About 10 GW of installed capacity has been restored. Reserves of equipment for emergency recovery works have been created, allowing for a speedy response to damage and stabilizing the operation of the energy system,' - Mykola Kolisnyk added.
