Most southern areas will see no precipitation, while the Carpathians and Precarpathians may experience wet snow accumulation.
Fog and icy conditions are also anticipated in eastern regions, including Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Poltava oblasts, with temperatures ranging from -4°C to +1°C. Daytime temperatures in Zakarpattia and the far south will reach +1 to +6°C. Winds across Ukraine will be predominantly north to northwesterly at 5-10 m/s.
In Kyiv, cloudy weather with light snow and icy glaze is forecast for February 8. Air temperatures in the capital will be -4 to -6°C, while the broader Kyiv region will see -4 to -9°C. The peak of this cold spell in Ukraine is expected in the first days of February.
