The Ukrzaliznytsia app has introduced statistics on the average number of evacuation stops and delays for a selected train over the past ten days. Previously, the app launched ticket sales for suburban trains. The new feature was announced by the company's press service.

The data was calculated for the last ten days to reflect the current situation. Ukrzaliznytsia emphasizes that the statistics are for informational purposes only and do not guarantee the absence of delays or evacuation stops.

“We significantly reduced the proportion of delays in October, but safety remains our priority,” the company noted.

What the Ukrzaliznytsia app will show

Passengers will be able to view the average number of delays and evacuation stops for the selected train. The company plans to regularly update the data to make it easier for travelers to plan their routes.

Train movement is affected by the security situation and damage to infrastructure. For this reason, the carrier may adjust schedules and routes, as has already occurred in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia: changes to train schedules.

Which trains will be canceled from October 20

From October 20, Ukrzaliznytsia plans to cancel two services:

  • # 79/80 Dnipro – Lviv;

  • # 31/32 Zaporizhzhia – Przemyśl.

The company explained the decision as a result of the deteriorating security situation and a decline in passenger flow. For trips from Dnipro to Lviv, passengers can choose services # 39/40, 5/6, 3/4, 85/86, 41/42, 61/62, 261/262, and 127/128. To reach Przemyśl, passengers will have to transfer in Lviv or Kyiv. Details regarding the cancellation of the two routes have been published separately.
