Ukrzaliznytsia has published a list of paid and free services in passenger trains. Available options depend on the type of carriage and route, and current prices can be clarified with the conductor or train manager. This is reported by Politeka. Passengers should also know which free services on trains are available to them.

Which services are paid in regular trains

In passenger carriages, bed linen, tea, coffee, juices, and other drinks can be purchased for an additional fee. Printed materials and packaged goods may also be sold on trains.

Additionally, passengers can order the use of a refrigerator and microwave, as well as audio and video program broadcasts. The train manager handles the transportation of excess luggage and express delivery within Ukraine. Special conditions are provided for transporting people using wheelchairs and cars in special carriages.

What free services are available in Intercity and Intercity+

In high-speed trains, passengers have access to a first aid kit, announcements via loudspeaker, and the delivery of goods that have already been paid for, all without additional payment. Restrooms should be equipped with soap, toilet paper, disinfectant gel, and sanitizer.

Free services also include cleaning of carriages, disposable headrests, boiled water, and printed materials if available. More about free services for passengers of Ukrzaliznytsia can be found in a separate article. Hand luggage weighing up to 36 kg is allowed to be carried without additional payment if the sum of its three dimensions does not exceed 200 cm. If necessary, train staff can call for medics or police.

Which options in Intercity require payment

In high-speed trains, food and drinks are sold for an additional charge. Access to Wi-Fi, online cinema, and library via personal devices may also incur fees. The availability of these services depends on the specific route and the carriage's equipment.

The cost and availability of options on a specific route can be confirmed with the conductor or train manager. The ticket price also depends on the class of carriage: specific pricing rules apply for SV and Intercity tickets.
