Ukraine's state railway, Ukrzaliznytsia, has presented a damaged passenger car to international delegations as a war anniversary art installation. The carriage, transformed into an artwork titled 'Pulsating Pain,' was destroyed in a Russian attack on the Chop - Barvinkove train on January 27, 2026. This tragic assault resulted in the deaths of six passengers, with two more injured. Approximately 300 people were successfully rescued during the attack. This initiative comes as Ukraine continues to use cultural projects to document the war's human cost for a global audience.
