Cancellation of 'Ukrzaliznytsia' trains during the New Year period
'Ukrzaliznytsia' announced the cancellation of dozens of suburban and regional trains from December 31, 2025, until the end of January 2026. This decision was made due to a decrease in passenger traffic during the New Year holidays.
Trains not operating on December 31, 2025:
- trains No. 6041/6042 Pomichna - Dolynska
- train No. 6161 Pomichna - Lyudmylivka
- train No. 6125 Lviv-Suburban - Shklo-Starzhytska
- trains No. 6002/6001 Lviv-Head - Rava-Ruska
- trains No. 6251/6254 Ternopil - Kozova
- train No. 6277 Ternopil - Chortkiv
- train No. 6361 Zdolbuniv - Lutsk
- train No. 6039 Dnipro-Head - Pyatykhatky
Cancellation of trains on January 1, 2026:
On January 1, several trains will also not operate, including:
- trains No. 6035/6036, No. 6043/6044 between Pomichna, Znamianka, and Dolynska
- routes on the section Myronivka - Tsvitkove
Changes on January 1 and 2, 2026:
Between January 1 and 2, the following routes will not operate:
- Kyiv - Rotok
- Kyiv - Vasylkiv
- Kyiv - Tarasivka
Moreover, from January 1 to 4, suburban trains will not operate in the Zaporizhia region. Also, on January 1-2, routes between Dnipro, Kamianske, and Pyatykhatky will be cancelled.
Thus, 'Ukrzaliznytsia' takes measures in response to the changes in passenger demand during the festive period, causing significant changes to the suburban and regional transportation schedule.
