Ukrzaliznytsia Launches 'My Gratitude. My Country' Charity Campaign Allowing Passengers to Donate Bonus Points to Railway Workers

Новий благодійний проект Моя подяка. Моя Батьківщина від Укрзалізниці: можливість підтримати працівників залізниці через бонусні бали.

Ukrzaliznytsia's New Charity Drive

Passengers of Ukrzaliznytsia now have the chance to donate their accumulated Obiymashky bonus points to assist railway employees and their families affected by the ongoing war. This effort is facilitated through a newly introduced Charity section in the Ukrzaliznytsia app, which enables users to support those impacted by the conflict. The campaign, titled My Gratitude. My Country, aims to collect 100 million Obiymashky points by November 4.

Obiymashky bonuses are earned when purchasing train tickets and can be transferred to help railway staff and their loved ones facing hardship. Interest in this initiative has been strong, with users already contributing points even before the official start of the campaign. To participate, travelers need to download or update the Ukrzaliznytsia app, navigate to the Charity section, and select how many Obiymashky points they wish to donate.

Highlights of the Campaign

The campaign clearly outlines its objectives and operational details under headings such as "What is the solution?" and "How does it work?". Running until November 4, the initiative seeks to mobilize a substantial amount of charitable contributions. Additionally, Ukrzaliznytsia offers passengers the opportunity to order Ukrainian books when buying tickets and receive them onboard. This cultural support responds to recent Russian attacks that destroyed over 10 million books by targeting warehouses and printing facilities across Ukraine.

Ukrzaliznytsia's fundraising campaign to aid employees and their families impacted by the war highlights the critical role of social responsibility during times of crisis.

By promoting Ukrainian literature alongside financial aid, the campaign also fosters cultural revival amid the losses caused by military actions. Such initiatives not only provide direct help to those in need but also strengthen community solidarity, uniting people around a shared goal of mutual support during challenging times.

As communities rally together to support Ukraine during these challenging times, various initiatives are emerging, including a recent charity run in Vienna aimed at bolstering Ukraine's freedom. Such efforts highlight the importance of solidarity and collective action, further emphasizing the need for contributions to support those affected by the ongoing conflict.
