Starting from December 14, Ukrzaliznytsia is introducing a new train schedule that will also affect Kyiv City Express. This is the first schedule update for the Kyiv circular train in the last three years and a return to full circular movement. Kyiv City Express mentions this in a post here.

The company indicates that the adjustments to departure times will be minor — within 10 minutes of the usual schedule. At the same time, the update will allow better coordination of transfers with suburban trains and ensure punctual train movement for long-distance connections, particularly towards Lviv.

The current schedule for Kyiv City Express will be published on December 14 on the official service website, allowing passengers to plan their trips in advance.

Ukrzaliznytsia also reported that all trains on the circular route will be updated — no more than a year after capital modernization. This aims to improve comfort and reliability of transportation within the capital.

In addition, in 2026, the company plans to actively develop digital services for suburban traffic. This includes new opportunities for the UZ mobile application and expansion of the self-service terminal network.

Recall that Ukrzaliznytsia launched 11 new trains.
