Enemy shelling of Poltava region: train routes changed

Due to shelling, a number of trains in the Poltava region will run on a modified route. This was announced by the head of the board of 'Ukrzaliznytsia' Oleksandr Peretskovskyi.



Among the trains affected by the changes:



  • Trains No. 59 and No. 8 from Odesa to Kharkiv.

  • Trains No. 792 and No. 126 to Kremenchuk.



According to Peretskovskyi, 'Ukrzaliznytsia' together with the regional military administration and local authorities is organizing bus transportation for passengers on sections with changes. Specialists have already begun to restore damages, and work is ongoing around the clock. The company urges passengers to follow updates on official resources.



Enemy attack on Poltava region and Kryvyi Rih


Recently, Russian occupiers attacked the Poltava region again. As a result of the shelling, residential buildings, cars, and enterprises were damaged, and civil infrastructure was also affected.


Additionally, on the night of September 7, enemy forces struck Kryvyi Rih. Missiles hit civilian infrastructure facilities, resulting in a fire. There are casualties among the civilian population.



During the shelling in the Poltava region and Kryvyi Rih, the railway infrastructure was damaged, which led to changes in the movement of some trains. 'Ukrzaliznytsia' is organizing bus transportation for passengers and conducting restoration of damages.
